Made for a mission

Last week I went to see my doctor and we had a short chat. As she's a christian too and she knew that I went for a couple of mission trips already, she shared with me abt this ex-classmate of hers. This ex-classmate is a doctor but he gave up everything here and went to the border of Afghanistan to help the ppl there. But he went there not as a doctor but as an IT-trainer. He teaches the ppl there basic IT skills. He has no support, even his church thinks it's crazy to live in a place like Afghanistan as it is very dangerous.
 
Over there, the ppl dunno what's love and peace, they are very hard. Over here, our common qns when we meet our friends on the street is "have you eaten?" but there, "how many died today?"..."how's the situation over ur side?". Bombs, wars and violence are part of their lives.
But this doctor knew his calling and he's very determined. And God's been providing him despite he got no supports from his friends, family and church. 
 
I was reading this book, I learnt that to fulfill ur mission will require that u abandon ur agenda and accept God's agenda for ur life. And everyone of us are made for a mission (Matt 28:19-20). Do not think that u got nothing to offer because God can use every ability and every experience for His works. Life is about loving God and loving others especially to fellow believers. Because God wants His family to be known for its love more than anything else. Jesus said our love for each other is our greatest witness to the world (John 13:35).
