The Cross...

A friend just sent me a link to this piece of news which left me shocked, disgusted & angry. A pastor of an evangelical church in Hong Kong sexually abused a mentally-handicapped woman. He has been a pastor for over 10 years but whatever he did that day has brought a bad name to Christianity and more so to God. After reading that article, my initial feeling was: I wish he be burned in the lake of fire. Mean? Yes, that was being honest.

I was a volunteer in a special school and I know how vulnerable they are. Nonetheless, they are really lovely ppl. There's 1 thing that I couldn't tolerate, that is that an abled person taking advantage of the defenseless. And that kinda person is someone I find it so hard to love.
That's me.

But I know Jesus still loves him a lot. He can see beyond this person's faults. Hard to believe eh?

That's Jesus.

Jesus died, arose and lives to intercede for us. I thank God that we dun have to base forgiveness on good works, good conduct and good behavior. Because no one can maintain that kind of personal righteous over time. Our own power would never suffice.

1 Cross + 3 nails = 4given
It's a simple equation and yet many ppl find it hard to understand why.
That's Jesus.

Having said that, I sure hope this man repents.

To a world that was lost, He gave all He could give to show us the reason to live.
