The adventure to SNEC

Today we got a catering to SNEC (Singapore National Eye Center) for 70 pax. It was a huge order. Leo, uncle Paul and Saw Hoon were supposed to be the ones going for catering. But uncle Paul strained his back the previous night, so I have to go in place of him. Then Tims volunteered to go too. We were supposed to leave PP at 5.30pm but we end up leaving the place at about 5.45pm.

Saw Hoon and myself had to sit behind to 'jaga' the stuff. As there were too many barang barang, I was given a very tiny space to sit. Thank God that I'm slim...heh! Anyway, when we got onto the highway, it was super jam! So Leo tried to go to the 4th lane ( van is not allowed on this lane), but couldn't brake in time and bump into another car in front. The impact was great at the back. Everything was thrown in front. Hot soup spilled onto Saw Hoon's feet, I was crushed by a metal trolley on the left, hit a drink dispenser on the front and knock my head on the right . I was whacked left, right and center. As a result, I injured my right knee. *Sigh*

I tell you...everything that can possibly go wrong...went wrong! After the accident, we continued on our journey to SNEC. We got to SGH and we got lost. Went to the wrong carpark. Finally got to the right place. Unload the stuff...blah blah blah and accidentally spilled the whole plate of lorbak and rojak. When we got to the roof top (open air) to find that their lights tripped...so there wasn't any lights for us to set up the things! There wasn't hot water to boil the noodles! And at that moment, there was thunder and lightnings!! *GULP* I was thinking to myself: "can my day get any better than this?"

But thank God...it did...eventually. Come to think about it...there was actually a car following closely behind us, if that car didn't brake in time as well. I can't imagine what's the consequences man...we'll be sandwiched.

He preserved our lives...really thank God!
