...

It's last day of the week finally, next week month-end already. Lately, I've been able to finish my jobs so quickly...it's either I'm too eifficient or the actual loads have yet to come. But I'd like to think that I'm efficient-by God's grace. Therefore, I keep asking my colleagues to see if anything they need me to help. But I've got a condition to it --no filing please! It's not that I think lowly on filing but often times I will get cuts on my poor fingers by the multitude of files in the library. Moreover the library is cold and you gotta climb up and down to search for the files. I really dreaded it.

One of my colleagues gave me some invoices to key the orders into an Excel spreadsheet. No matter how hard I try to take my time to do it, I always finish the whole thing in a short time. And she got nothing more for me to do. I turned to Vincent for more work but apparently most of the stuff I can't do becos I do not have the access to certain programs. And finally, he told me he got some simply data-entry job, I was anticipating it until he 'banished' me to the library to do FILING! (I think I got on his nerves becos I kept IMing him for things to do)

I was grumbling inside me, I wasn't too keen to help but he is my boss. To make the matter worse, I got 1 deep cut and 2 or 3 minor cuts. I really got mad then suddenly the Holy Spirit gently reminded me this: "He came to serve, not to be served."

I was rather ashamed of myself. I wanna help yet I'm selective on the things which I wanna help. There's a condition to it. Can you imagine Jesus say this:"Father, I will go into the world and help them to know You, heal the sick and cast out demons. But can I not be borned into that stinky manger or be nailed onto that filmsy cross??" Thank God that none of those things happened because His love is unconditional.

I felt like kicking myself. How can a few cuts on my hand compared to His nail-pierced hands?

Anyway, went to "Pure Eddiction" at Safra Mount Faber with Vincent and Lee for cuppa and dinner. Food and drinks were ok. Though Lee thought it's quite bad...she's a professional food critic I think. For me, I just thank God that there's food being laid on the table for me. I gotta learn to be contented with what I have and make the best out of it.

Our lives are not about self-preservation and fulfillment, but are to be acts of stewardship.

grace... you're efficient... ;)

and I am not a professional food critic! I was there to check and judge out the food so I had to be very analytical.. (I know saying "it sucks" isn't analytical.. ;p)

just wanna affirm your helpful spirit.. I haven't had the chance to talk to you about such stuff before.. you are a girl full of love and a willing spirit for God.. hallelujah! =)
