One people, One nation, One Singapore

Er...nope...it's not National Day yet.

Finally...finally MS financial year is over! It was like a battlefield in the office for the past few days. For the past few mths, there was this special program agreements keep coming in bulks...in 50s...in 100s. Initially a team member of mine was assigned to handle these but we didn't think that the response was so over-whelming. Hence, she was allowed more time to handle those agreements...as it is a non-revenue program, it is only logical that this is not her top priority. In short, procrastinate.

On wednesday evening, Vincent received bad news from Irene (our manager)...that we need to processed all 348 agreements over the wkends! Plus, it was MS financial year...so it's a double hit. So on thursday, 3 of us (the elites) were recruited to help that colleague to process. Starting was tough because all of us were not familiar with the process, therefore it took us quite long to process 1 agreement. Then almost the rest of the team volunteered to help out. Most of them dropped their daily routines just to finish those 300 plus agreements.

It was really an awesome team work...we sacrificed our time to work thru the night on thurs & fri and even come back on sat to work. In less than 72 hours, we completed the task! I believed we were quite united and we stay focus on completing that mission. Of course, sacrifice is inevitable.

No pain no gain.

It was apt that uncle Justin touched on a bit on the topic of "Victory through unity of the Body" during the young adults' meeting tonight. If only the children of God can stay united, the light will shine so bright in this dark and perverse world.

Unity is the key to victory.
